Victoria Fu is a visual artist who received her BA in Art from Stanford and MFA from CalArts. Her film and video works have been exhibited at De Appel in Amsterdam, Samsøn Projects in Boston, Sala Rekalde in Bilbao, Seoul National University, El Museo de la Ciudad in Quito, Frederieke Taylor Gallery in New York, Fundación Sa Nostra in Palma de Mallorca, Ballhaus Ost and General Public in Berlin. Recipient of an Art Matters Foundation Grant, she was a participant of the Whitney Independent Study Program, Skowhegan and the Atlantic Center for the Arts. The outcome of each play remains the same between the original game and its re-enactment, underscoring the duplication as a redundant act. However, imperfection inevitably creeps in, even after the best efforts at playing the same game twice.
